Welcome to the World Wide Online Operation: Frostbite campaign.  Get ready to battle your opponents and take control of Elysee for your faction.  To take part in the Online Campaign you will need to have a copy of the Operation Frostbite rule book Gaming Aid book, along with all the Frostbite Game tiles.  There is one major change from the book for the online campaign.  If you participate in all 3 battle fronts, you can only have a max of 6 companies.  Two companies per Battle Field.  I also recommend you read up on the Campaign rules in the Frostbite book before you play.

Here is how it’s going to work:

First you’ll need to create an account.  Under the log in box you will find a link to register for an account.  It’s pretty simple, just fill out the information in the boxes.  Important!  Once you click the register, you cannot change Factions until after the 7 week campaign is over.

Once you’re done registering you’ll be taken back to the log in page.  Log in with the information you provided during registration.  You will then be taken to the user interface page!

From the Planet Screen, select the Battlefield you would like to position your troops.  On the Battle Field map you will see the sectors.  The color represents the Faction currently in control of that section.  Below the map is where you’ll find your information.  It will show your two companies locations and the battle reporting buttons.  To move your companies to different locations, click the Move Location link at the bottom of the page.

The Battles:

This is the tricky part.   When you’re moving your army you start moving from your faction headquarters.  You can only move to a sector where the arrow indicates you can move (For clarification please see the Battle field maps in the Frostbite book).   You currently are not limited to where you can move by the software.  Please, just be sure you can move to a location before you move there.  This whole campaign will only work if the players enter accurate information.

Once you have placed your companies in their sectors it is time to fight.  Find a real life opponent and play a game of AT-43 using the Campaign Aid book to set up the sector.  It doesn’t matter which faction your opponent is playing.  All that matters for this campaign is the outcome.  Once the game is completed, upload your results.  Add your VP and MP to your total and enter it in the “Debriefing” menu on your user page.  You will also select “Win”, “Loose”, or “Retreat” on the Battle field map for the company you just played.   Please only play one game per week per sector.  If you play all the sectors you’ll have plenty of games to play in one week.

A win will add to your factions wins in the sector.  The Majority of wins takes sector control.  Please note:
If you win the game against your opponent, your faction may not win the sector…For example:  If the UNA win 13 games in one sector in one week, and the Therians win 14 games in one week, the Therians will take control of the sector.  Every victory counts!  The next week if you’re fighting over the same sector, you’ll still count the previous weeks battles.

One thing to note, for now you’ll have to refresh your user menu using the link at the bottom of the page to see some of the updated results.  Also, you’ll need to make sure ‘cookies’ are enabled to be able to use the site.
