Operation: Frostbite Week Five
Week five has completed in the Operation: Frostbite campaign. Looks like the Cogs have taken over the entire planet. The Cog victories are so far ahead of everyone else, that I think this campaign is over. While the other factions can win fights here and there, the Cogs have such a strangle hold on the planet that every other faction should do a retreat! Here are the stats:
UNA: 34 Wins
Karman: 4 Wins
Red Blok: 12 Wins
Therians: 2 Wins
Cogs: 71 Wins
Thanks to all who’ve played this campaign. I hope you all think it went well and was fun to be part of a really Global campaign. If you’re interested in another Campaign, please let me know. Thank you all for playing.

I would like to know how the Wins would look if you took that single Cogs player out of the equation. I would humbly suggest that you put a 3-game per-player, per-week limit on your next campaign, that would probably prevent this runaway leader problem, as it would have been a maximum of 15 games played by any one participant. Thanks very much for conducting this campaign. I only managed to contribute one victory (to the Cogs), but I enjoyed it!
Looking forward to the next one.

I agree with Talarius. There should be some kind of limit per player per week. There should also be a table of how many unique players per faction.

Talarius, that’s a good idea. I’ll have to look at doing that soon. And Longbow, there is breakdown of factions on the Member Roster page. You’ll find the link on the front page of the Campaign, under the black menu. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see the Factions.

Found it, sorry. Hmm…looks like a lot of people registered but not played? Or played but not entered their results. That’s a shame. 50+ players for a campaign is quite awesome. It’s great the 20 or so players managed to enter their results. Bright Ecthelion is crazy though… 66 games in 5 weeks?! Looking forward to the next campaign, Tracy. My stuff arrived to late for this one but I’m ready now!

I think a big part of it is the number of people playing a certain army. I wasn’t able to take part in this campaign, but I would assume by looking at the score that there was only 1 Therian player. Cogs are the big thing right now, so more people are playing them.
Just wait until ONI comes out, you’ll see a lot of wins in any campaign they take part in because everyone, myself included, is waiting to play them.

Not really crazy, just have a good deal of free time on hand. During that period in time, I was doing a lot of games at two of the FLGS branches. I was there almost to midnight nearly everyday doing such things as running demos and playing. Played a whole lot….
