Its the rules. I have not played At-43 but it is like ALL other modern games in that its goal is to get you to buy figures which is where the company makes its profit. Profit is not bad, but it puts the gamer second. I sugest using the figs, which are nice, and changing rule set. Go to the ground Zero games web site (GZG is out of England) and down load stargrunt II for free and start to have fun playing the game instead of the rules. A hard copy of SGII is available from Monday Knight Productions in washington or on E-bay. Check it out I have yet to meet someone who does not fall in love with the rules.
